General Information
We offer a variety of activities designed to stimulate physical, social,
creative, and cognitive engagement. Some examples include:
- Physical: Walking, chair exercises, yoga, outdoor games
- Social: Coffee chats, group discussions, interactive games
- Creative: Arts and crafts, painting, woodwork, seasonal projects and music
- Cognitive: Newspaper reading, puzzles, games, baking and gardening

To enroll, contact us to schedule a meet and greet. After our initial meeting, we’ll discuss your loved one’s needs, complete an assessment and talk about next steps.
Starting a dementia care program can feel challenging. Our compassionate, trained staff excels at helping participants feel at ease through personalized support and gradual transitions. We’ll work closely with you to address concerns and tailor solutions.

While we don't currently offer direct transportation, we're working towards
providing that service in the future. For now, members will need to be
dropped off and picked up at The Tulip Place.
Program and Pricing
Our dementia care philosophy emphasizes a safe, joyful, and supportive environment that enhances quality of life through meaningful activities. We prioritize dignity, independence, and social connections, as shared in our story.
The Tulip Place does not currently offer transportation, but we’re exploring options to provide this service in the future. Participants need to be dropped off and picked up at our center during our operating hours.
We accommodate a range of dietary needs, including allergies, medical restrictions, and personal preferences. Our staff collaborates with families to provide suitable lunches and snacks, ensuring participant comfort. Contact us to discuss any specific needs you may have.
Our dementia day program costs $150 per day. As participants transition to the full day program, we charge $25 per hour. Some long-term care insurance may cover partial costs, though Medicaid and Medicare do not currently apply. There is a pilot program underway to explore the possibility of future coverage. Staff and Center Information
Our staff are certified dementia care practitioners with extensive experience and specialized training in dementia care. They complete courses on understanding dementia, communication strategies, and personalized support, and are certified in First Aid and CPR. Learn more about our staff.
Yes, our volunteers aenrich our dementia day program by bringing unique skills and energy. Each volunteer receives training in dementia care best practices from our staff to ensure quality support.
